It has been a while since I left my drawings into folders and now that I have time distance I can be more objective. When I first looked at illustration for children book I don’t think I have many unnecessary lines. Patterns on a fish’s scarf could be left out as well as so many stars and water drops. These visuals are maybe too accurate and clean since I noticed that many artists make them like free rough sketches but I don’t think accuracy is a bad thing. Better drawn visual will give a better insight into what I am striving for. I would also color them and discuss about color palette so I would know what I am dealing with. I guess I will develop my own way of making client visuals, but this was a good exercise. I practiced drawing and measuring which I like.
