It was really interesting exercise that forced me to play with such different objects, textures, prints producing some interesting, awkward, humorous and bizarre combinations. When I was playing I wasn’t so concerned about meaning so I wasn’t aiming for some message. I just wanted to combine things that have never came to my mind as something that could function together.  Research I made and this fantastic book  about Surrealism were of great help in terms of better understanding this kind of art.  I finished this exercise through drawing where I portrayed edited version of  my collage.  I also introduced a brain in a form of served roasted chicken on a table since my cat reminds me on nowadays modern trend which forces us to put away our brains and to celebrate vulgarity.
